Philadelphia Architect Robert Venturi, who coined the post-modernist retort, "Less is a Bore" ventured into enemy territory - Chicago - to lecture on that city's great 20th architect modernist, Mies van der Rohe, whose aesthetic motto was, of course, "Less is More."
