How about the new proposed condos in the old state building up for sale at Broad and Spring Gaeden? Inga, please bring us a world class developer with a large retail component for that footprint... Gee it's right in the Inky's backyard. Do I hear retail with a 24 hour gormet market and large Brew Pub for all those editorial and advertising types.

What's the deal Inga?? I thought blogging was suppose to be a daily activity. Did you decide to abandon the digital age for the old pen and paper?

Take it easy, folks. Tomorrow is Friday, when Inga's column usually appears. The blog may be important, but the column (and catching up on all the e-mails etc., which everybody has to do) had to come first. Or at least I'd be very surprised it if didn't. Columns don't write and research themselves, and they have to be more polished than blog entries. Inga is not dead or missing, she's working.

And which court ruled that you have to blog every day anyway?

Hmmm. Spelled backwards leads us to A-G-N-I. Plugging this into the Fabbinaci Sequence tells us that the code "1910" is important. Now saffron has a triplex molecular sequence and is usually found at the end of the description on a typical menu, especially in the restaurants frequented by Da Vinci. Thus, adding the 3 to the 1910, leaves us with 19103. So I think it is quite clear that she is in the 19103 zip code. Now we must run fast . . . quickly, into this alley . . . .

Those of you upset that the blog isn't updated everyday: write your own architecture blog and update it everyday if you're that unhappy. Otherwise, sit tight and wait to see what she has to say.

Those of you upset that Inga has the utter gall to not start blogging the moment she returned from vacation: get over it -- she doesn't work for you. She doesn't come banging on your door if you've not posted in the comments section for a few days.

She'll post when she's darn-well good and ready. Until she does, get a life, get off the computer, and head outside.

Settle down. Settle down, people. Go see the Cret exhibit at The Athenaeum, and while you are there, pause in Washington Square and reflect on a) whether we really need to save Dilworth House when Society Hill itself is actually the "monument and b) whether Venturi is really the fellow to design the replacement for that space or whether perhaps the city space might be better served by a different architect. Can't believe it has devolved to fights about covering up bedroom windows, creating non-conforming space....
